18 June 2003 ****** 4-6-2 PACIFIC TEST RUN A SUCCESS! ****** Our most recent locomotive, the 4-6-2 Pacific, was ready for its test run this week. Howie Mason had the honour of checking all systems of this amazing, powerful machine. Although still unpainted, as per customer request, the engine and its brass fittings looked marvellous as Howie put the Pacific through its paces. The sound of the whistle soon attracted the attention of our entire staff, and brought several youths to view the spectacle. Hoping for a ride, Howie let the young boys climb aboard while he continued the Pacific's shakedown. The test run was a complete success with all systems performing as expected. The Pacific was readied for shipment, and is now on its way to our eagerly awaiting customer. With the machine shop in full production, a huge 4-6-4 Hudson is nearing completion.
