January 10, 2005 IT WAS A DARK AND STORMY NIGHT... Three large moving trucks loaded with 78,000 lbs of trains, equipment, and a strong sense of purpose, braved a raging snowstorm and the majestic Rocky Mountains to fulfill Howie & Elva Mason's dream of returning to their roots in Cranbrook, British Columbia. An historically significant event for Mason's Trains, this dramatic relocation has resulted in a larger, full-service machine shop & manufacturing facility, and a renewed determination to continue to be world-class leaders in the live steam locomotive industry. Future plans include a huge, onsite track installation featuring our amazing Snap Track System, and the introduction of several new exciting live steam models to our fantastic product line. We encourage you to check back often for updates as our plans progress, track layout is developed, and new engines come online.
